Calculator for oil enhanced 1.9.9

The app presented is a valuable tool for professionals in the oil industry, bunker, and cargo surveyors. It is a recently updated application offered by MMC (Mooring Marine Consultancy) with a focus on aiding marine cargo surveyors and deck officers on oil tankers in performing cargo calculations.

This new version of the Calculator for Oil app offers enhanced capabilities and has replaced its predecessor that is no longer updateable. Notably, this new app is ad-free and offers a streamlined user experience at no cost, similar to its predecessor.

NEWLY ADDED FEATURES:

• Table 53 (A, B, D) for converting observed density to density at 15 deg C has been introduced based on user requests.
• Customizable background and text colors are now available in the settings screen.

The app meticulously aligns with ASTM 1980 tables ensuring accurate calculations. Users can calculate using various ASTM tables and formulas for different measurements such as Metric Tons in Air and volume corrections. Additionally, conversions between API and density are conveniently provided using table 3.

For iPhone users, the app is now also accessible on the App Store: Oil Calculator Pro on App Store.

Utilizing ASTM tables (1980) and formulas, the app calculates weights and volumes based on user inputs such as density@15 or API, observed volume and temperature, yielding results including Volume correction factor, Metric tons (vacuum), Metric tons (air), GSV (M3 @15), BBLS (@60), Longtons, Gallons, API to density @15 conversions, and more.

Precision adjustments for various calculations can be tailored through the settings feature which stores user preferences for future use. The app supports calculations for crude oil, black and white products, lubrication oils, providing flexibility in input units and temperature scales.

Please note that users now have options to switch between different calculation methods using ASTM Table 6A/6B/6D or ASTM Table 54A/54B as well as alternatives for converting Metric Tons in air.
